About Us

big-img9Clarendon Assisted Living is designed for residents who are sixty years of age
or older. A group of four board and care homes, accommodating six residents each, comprise our senior community on quiet residential streets in both the Woodland Hills and Lake Balboa areas of the San Fernando Valley.

Residents at Clarendon experience a lifestyle that replicates their own – living in a real home rather than a large hotel-like setting, as a member of an extended family. The goal of our communities is to provide a nurturing, comfortable and safe environment where the love, care, and attention to our residents are second to none. We know each resident by name, not a just room number, and tailor our services to each individual’s needs. This is our highest priority.

We understand that choosing a senior home is a monumental decision, both practically and emotionally. We are here to help you and your loved ones navigate this process.

Our Philosophy

At Clarendon Assisted Living, our residents are treated like family and receive truly loving care. It is this principle that guides us every day and that, for nearly 20 years, has earned us a sterling reputation serving seniors and others in need of care. Our services are unparalleled, thanks to a heartfelt commitment to providing a senior living environment that is as enriched as possible.

Our philosophy of resident care goes beyond basic needs. Rather, we care for the whole person, providing the highest level of care and monitoring; being up-to-date on each resident’s medical condition; acting as involved, proactive advocates; and providing a mentally, physically, and emotionally stimulating environment where all of our residents thrive.

Our History

Clarendon Assisted Living was founded by Nada Kommel nearly twenty years ago. In almost two decades, she established the reputation of her homes as one of the highest quality residential care communities in the Greater Los Angeles area. The care and attention that Nada devoted to each of her residents are beyond compare.

In late 2015, Clarendon Assisted Living was purchased by Justin Levi and David Ebrami, who bring with them a wealth of elder care, business, and real estate experience.
